Overview

CloudWriter is a web application server for everyone that offers power, flexibility and scalability without high cost and complexity.

CloudWriter comprises a server-side, cross-platform scripting language, a relational database, and standard objects for doing routine tasks like threaded discussion, shopping carts, and so on.

The principle features of CloudWriter that make it attractive to a large number of web implementers:

• Based on an object-oriented, interpreted, late-binding programming language with syntax similar to Java or C#.
• Includes a web-based editor/debugger allowing dynamic websites to be developed and deployed over the web
• Includes a built-in high-performance multi-threaded relational database.
• Has access to non-native databases through ODBC  (For portability, the native database can also be accessed through ODBC.)
• Has flexible multi-tier architecture, allowing database servers to run on multiple machines or processors
